In 2006, I went to Kenya to work as a volunteer teacher. That’s how I met Bernard Okall, the “enlightened” school director and the fantastic almighty Madam Tina. I share many opinions with Bernard – including a view on the rights of small children to access education, independently of the social status of their parents. I rarely meet people who would sacrifice a significant part of their personal income and devote their energy to help disadvantaged kids. That’s how our cooperation started and how the idea of sponsoring Kenyan orphans was born.
